EasyDMARC vs dmarcian

A DMARC record asks mailbox providers to send you daily XML reports about every source sending mail as your domain. Those reports are unreadable without software, which is where DMARC platforms come in. EasyDMARC and dmarcian are two of the most established. Both collect your reports, identify the sending sources and guide you from a monitoring policy to full enforcement. They differ in style, pricing structure and how much they automate.
At a glance
- EasyDMARC is best for businesses and service providers that want a guided, feature-rich platform with managed DNS tools. Paid plans start at $44.99 a month, or $35.99 a month on annual billing.
- dmarcian is best for teams that want a specialist DMARC tool with a low entry price and clear data. Its Basic plan costs $24 a month, or $19.99 a month on annual billing.
Where EasyDMARC is strong
EasyDMARC presents DMARC data in a polished interface that sorts sending sources into compliant, non-compliant and threat categories, with step-by-step guidance for fixing each one. It is approachable for IT generalists who do not work with email authentication every day.
The platform goes well beyond reporting. Managed SPF, called EasySPF, solves the ten DNS lookup limit by flattening your record automatically. It is included from the Premium plan. Managed DKIM, managed BIMI, hosted MTA-STS and TLS reporting are part of the product range, and higher tiers add reputation and deliverability monitoring.
DMARC Plus covers two domains with three months of data history. DMARC Premium, at $89.99 a month or $71.99 on annual billing, covers four domains with a year of history. There is a separate program for managed service providers, with multi-tenant management.
Where dmarcian is strong
dmarcian was founded by one of the primary authors of the DMARC specification, and the product reflects that depth. Its source classification is highly regarded, and the interface concentrates on showing exactly which infrastructure is sending as your domain and whether it aligns.
The plan structure is straightforward. Basic covers two domains, 100,000 messages a month and three months of history. Plus, at $240 a month or $199 on annual billing, covers eight domains, a million messages, a year of history and three users. Enterprise, at $600 a month or $499 annually, covers fifteen domains with unlimited history, API access and single sign-on. A free Personal plan exists for non-business domains, and paid plans have a 30-day trial.
Every plan includes tools such as the SPF Surveyor, DKIM Inspector and TLS reporting, and dmarcian offers deployment services for organizations that want hands-on help.
Key differences
- Entry price. dmarcian's Basic plan is cheaper for one or two domains. EasyDMARC's starting plan costs more but includes unlimited users.
- Automation. EasyDMARC offers managed SPF, DKIM, BIMI and MTA-STS. dmarcian focuses on visibility and expert guidance.
- Mid-tier value. EasyDMARC's Premium plan is far cheaper than dmarcian's Plus, though it covers fewer domains.
- Service providers. Both have partner programs. EasyDMARC promotes its MSP offering more heavily.
- Free option. dmarcian has a free plan for personal domains only. EasyDMARC offers free trials and standalone free tools.
Deliverability notes
No DMARC platform enforces anything for you automatically. The tool shows which services send as your domain. The work is fixing each legitimate one so that SPF or DKIM aligns, then tightening the policy from none to quarantine to reject.
Managed SPF is convenient, but it adds a dependency. Your SPF record points at the vendor, so cancelling the service without restoring a valid record will break authentication. Document what the tool manages before you rely on it.
Choose on how well the interface helps you identify unknown sources. That is the task you will spend most of your time on, and both vendors offer trials that let you see your own data before paying.
Which should you choose?
- Choose EasyDMARC if you want managed SPF and other hosted records, a guided interface, or you manage domains for clients.
- Choose dmarcian if you have one or two domains and want the lowest cost, or you value a specialist tool with deep expertise behind it.
Pricing was checked on each vendor's pricing page in October 2026 and changes often. Confirm current rates before you buy.
