Bouncer vs NeverBounce

Bouncer vs NeverBounce

Bouncer and NeverBounce both verify email addresses in bulk and through an API, and at small volumes they cost the same. The differences are in how prices fall as volume grows, whether credits expire, and where each company puts its emphasis. Bouncer is a European vendor that stresses data protection and has added deliverability tools. NeverBounce is a long-established US service with deep integrations.

At a glance

  • Bouncer is best for teams that verify in large batches, care about data residency, or want credits that last. Pay-as-you-go costs $8 per 1,000 credits, falling to $2 per 1,000 at a million.
  • NeverBounce is best for teams that want continuous verification connected to their CRM. Pay-as-you-go costs $8 per 1,000 emails, with a Growth plan at $49 a month.

Where Bouncer is strong

Bouncer's volume pricing is clear. 1,000 credits cost $8, 10,000 cost $60, 100,000 cost $400 and a million cost $2,000. Credits never expire, whether you buy them once or receive them through a subscription. New accounts get 100 free credits without a credit card.

The company is based in the European Union and builds its service around GDPR compliance, which simplifies procurement for European businesses.

Bouncer has also added tools around verification. Toxicity Check looks for addresses associated with complaints, litigation or breaches. The Deliverability Kit, from $25 a month, runs inbox placement tests and monitors blocklists. Bouncer Shield protects signup forms in real time, and AutoClean keeps connected lists clean automatically.

Where NeverBounce is strong

NeverBounce is designed to plug into the tools you already use. It integrates with a wide range of email platforms and CRMs, and its Growth plan includes CRM auto-sync, so new contacts are verified before they pollute your database. Duplicate emails are not charged.

Verification is fast, lists can be cleaned in parallel, and automatic typo correction fixes common mistakes such as misspelled domains. The real-time API suits signup forms and lead capture. NeverBounce is owned by ZoomInfo and has been operating for over a decade.

Pay-as-you-go credits expire 12 months after purchase, so it is best to buy for the volume you expect to use within a year.

Key differences

  • Volume pricing. Entry prices match. Bouncer publishes steep discounts at higher volumes.
  • Credit expiry. Bouncer credits never expire. NeverBounce pay-as-you-go credits last 12 months.
  • Data protection. Bouncer is EU-based with a GDPR focus. NeverBounce is US-based.
  • Extras. Bouncer offers toxicity checks and a deliverability kit. NeverBounce emphasizes sync and integrations.
  • Subscriptions. NeverBounce's Growth plan suits steady monthly verification. Bouncer's subscriptions also cover its deliverability tools.

Deliverability notes

Any reputable verifier will catch most hard bounces. The remaining risk comes from three categories that no tool can fully resolve.

Catch-all domains accept everything, so individual addresses cannot be confirmed. Unknown results mean the receiving server did not answer in time. Role addresses such as info@ or sales@ are valid, but often shared and more likely to complain. Decide in advance how you will handle each group. A cautious policy is to exclude unknowns, send to catch-alls in small batches, and avoid role addresses for cold outreach.

Verification also has a shelf life. Business contact data decays quickly as people move jobs, so a list verified six months ago should be checked again before a large send.

Keep your overall bounce rate under 2%. If a verified list still bounces above that level, the source of the data is the problem, not the verifier.

Which should you choose?

  • Choose Bouncer if you buy credits in bulk, want them to last, or need an EU-based provider.
  • Choose NeverBounce if you want verification wired into your CRM and marketing tools with minimal effort.

Pricing was checked on each vendor's pricing page in October 2026 and changes often. Confirm current rates before you buy.
